  The WRATT Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit foundation incorporated in the State of Alabama in 1993.  WRATT provides confidential, voluntary, and non-regulatory technical services in the areas of waste reduction, pollution prevention, and energy conservation, to businesses, industries, and public or private institutions.

Foundation services include on-site technical assessments, seminars, workshops and other public education activities designed to help clients reduce operating costs, waste, pollution, and energy use. The Foundation also provides assistance to other states and foreign countries which desire to establish a program based on the 'WRATT Model'. The Foundation is operated, and all services are provided, by retired engineers, scientists, and other professionals.

WRATT has its principal office in Birmingham, Alabama.
